CLEVELAND - Police have released the name of the woman killed in a one-car accident on Interstate 480 westbound in Cleveland.
Stacy Berger, 31, of Cleveland, was killed in the crash that happened at the 176 split near Spring Road around 7:35 p.m. Tuesday.
Cleveland Police Sgt. Sammy Morris said the driver of a Hyundai was speeding and attempted to change lanes. That’s when the driver lost control and hit a guardrail, according to police.
Berger was thrown from the car and found in the roadway, Cleveland police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A NewsChannel5 viewer reported that traffic was backed up all the way to Interstate 77, at one time.
The crash remains under investigation.
