CLEVELAND - Family and friends of slain Cleveland Clinic nurse Aliza Sherman are preparing to hold a ceremony on March 24 marking one year since her violent murder.
She was brutally stabbed 11 times late on a Sunday afternoon, March 24, 2013, near 75 Erieview Plaza in downtown Cleveland.
Investigators say nothing was taken from Sherman during the incident.
Cleveland Police continue to investigate her death and released a short surveillance video clip of the suspect scampering away.
CrimeStoppers, family and friends have offered a $25,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of her murderer.
Family members say they will release more information for the ceremony later this month.
