CLEVELAND - One person is dead after a one car crash on Cedar Glen Parkway near Overlook Road in Cleveland near the border with Cleveland Heights around 3:30 a.m. Monday.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as 26-year-old Anthony Hopkins, of Cleveland Heights.
According to Cleveland police, Hopkins was headed eastbound when they crossed all lanes of traffic and hit a utility pole on the north side of the street. Hopkins was ejected from the car. The impact was so severe that one of the car doors was lodged into the utility pole.
All lanes of Cedar Glen Parkway have been reopened between Murray Hill and the the top of Cedar Hill where Euclid Heights, Cedar Road and Overlook Road all meet.
