It may be the most wonderful time of year for Northeast Ohio foodies: two restaurant weeks offering delicious deals will happen practically back-to-back.

Downtown Cleveland Restaurant Week runs from Friday, Feb. 17 to Sunday, Feb. 26. Organized by the Downtown Cleveland Alliance, the week features dining spots offering deals in a range of special fixed prices.

Just a few days later, Cleveland Restaurant Week is upon us. Organized by Cleveland Independents, a consortium of locally owned and operated eateries, the March 3 to 16 event casts the net beyond the downtown area. (Come back to New5Cleveland.com for details in early March).

5 things to know about Downtown Cleveland Restaurant Week, Feb. 17-26:

1. The public will have the option to get $15, $30 and $40 specials.

2. Your vote counts! This year, participating restaurants will compete in The Hungry Games - Battle of the Districts. Restaurant Week goers will vote for their favorite menus online. Click here to vote!

3. More than 50 restaurants are taking part.

4. Many restaurants are offering special pricing for lunch as well as dinner.

5. It's the tenth year for the initiative.
