CLEVELAND - The Drug Enforcement Administration confirmed drug busts at six northeast Ohio locations Friday.
DEA said two of the busts were carried out in Cleveland, at a warehouse on West 41st Street and Clark Avenue and a house on the 4900 block of Stickney Avenue.
Agents also said they raided one house in Ashtabula, two houses in Elyria and one house in the city of Lorain. The locations of those homes are yet to be confirmed.
NewsChannel5 was told by the DEA that the warehouse raided in Cleveland was the hub of a well-put-together operation and estimated to have more than 1,000 marijuana plants. They said it had multiple rooms with plants in multiple stages of growth.
DEA agents also said they seized multiple weapons and U.S. currency.
It is unknown how many arrests have yet to be made.
Our video shows empty plant pots, since DEA agents had removed the plants prior to our arrival at the scene.
