CLEVELAND - NewsChannel5 will interview Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald Monday afternoon about his first year in office and his plans for the county's future.
FitzGerald was officially sworn in as county executive one year ago at the old courthouse in downtown Cleveland.
At the time, FitzGerald said he was optimistic about the county's future and his ability to lead the county.
"You know, we're not going to have a 100 percent success rate, but I don't think that's what people expect. They expect very aggressive action and that's what they're going to get," FizGerald said.
FitzGerald is the first Cuyahoga county executive.
County residents voted to reform their government after a corruption scandal that involved several top leaders, including former County Auditor Frank Russo and former County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora, who is currently on trial.
