Cuyahoga County employee on leave after alleged threats

CLEVELAND - A Cuyahoga County employee is on leave after authorities say he made threats about furlough days.

John O’Brien with the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office said the male employee made threats towards “politicians” and was upset about the possibility of being forced to take more furlough days this year.

The incident happened on Jan. 14 and the employee has since been put on plaid administrative leave pending an investigation.
