CPD car crashes into front porch

CLEVELAND - Two Cleveland police officers sustained minor injuries Tuesday after a police cruiser crashed into a home on the city's east side.

Police say the crash happened at E. 136th Street and Eaglesmere around 8:30 p.m.

A caller told 9-1-1 that the cars had no sirens on when they crashed.

"They run down here with no—no sirens on," the woman said. "They done collided into this woman’s house. You got three cars right here on the corner."

The 9-1-1 operator asked, for clarity, if the vehicles were police cars.

"Three-car police accident. They come down here flying with no sirens. Collided," the caller confirmed.
