Anti-war group CODE PINK, has become known for their theatrical displays during the GOP convention. Members of the group stood at 4th and Prospect Ave. in solidarity with the Brady Campaign to end gun violence.

Organizers handed out pink and yellow tennis balls to the crowd. "We're here highlighting hypocrisy!" shouted one of the organizers.

During the RNC, tennis balls are among the items prohibited in the convention zone, while open-carry laws have been upheld.

"These balls can get us arrested," another protester shouts to the crowd.

The police watched at a close distance. The women continued chanting and throwing their tennis balls to an entertained crowd.

A cop spoke with one of the CODE PINK organizers, motioning them to go to the end of the street.

The group held their ground, and in an instant the police, surrounded them, while the women continued shouting and holding up balls.

From inside the police barricade, officers could be seen confiscating the tennis balls and putting them into a large black trash bag.
