Cleveland's portable traffic cameras move to new locations through Jan. 20 to catch speeding drivers

CLEVELAND - The city of Cleveland's portable camera units used to catch speeding drivers are on the move again.

The 12 cameras moved to new locations Jan 6 and will remain until Jan. 20.

The new locations are listed under the map below.

As part of “Operation Safe Streets,” these portable camera units are self-contained and can be moved between locations, according to the city.

The portable units do not require an officer to stay with it. They can also be placed where mobile speed cameras cannot be parked. Permanent signs warn drivers that the cameras may be in use in the area.
