Cleveland police released very specific information Tuesday about the man officers are looking for in connection to the abduction of a 6-year-old girl over the weekend.

In a news conference Tuesday officials described the suspect as a white male with light brown hair and a "neatly-trimmed" beard. He was about 5-foot 10-inches tall and had at least one tattoo. He was wearing a maroon or red hoodie.

That's the man who allegedly took a young girl from her home in the 3000 block of West 104th Street near Western Avenue early Saturday morning.

Police also said he may have been seen in that area a week before the abduction.

The girl was reportedly taken to a brick home with a white door and black front porch railings.

Police said the man arrived at the home around 5 a.m. Saturday, spent the entire day inside a room, possibly a bedroom, and then left later that evening.

The room had mural wallpaper and a picture on the wall of a moose or deer with grass and trees.

According to police, there were two people—described as a black male and a brown female—inside the home, possibly roommates, who likely didn't know the girl was in the home.

The 6-year-old told police that at one point the woman knocked on the door of the room and said she was cooking. While the suspect was communicating with the other people in the home, the girl was told to hide.

There were also two dogs—one white and one brown—in the home.

Officials are asking the other people who were inside the home to call police.

The FBI and Cleveland police are also asking that residents who were in the area of West 104th Street near Western Avenue around 3 or 4 a.m. as well as those who were in the West 140th Street area around 9:15 p.m. Saturday to call police.

A confidential tip line has been set up at 216-622-68

A $10,000 reward is being offered in the case.
