CLEVELAND - Cleveland police say despite the 13-year-old being a known runaway, they're taking all necessary steps to try and locate her and bring her safely home.
Family members of Jazmine Haamid, 13, say they last saw her Friday after school. Shortly after getting home, they said Jazmine left.
The police report notes Jazmine is "habitual" and has been known to frequent the Glenville Rec Center. A check there, at area hospitals, detention center and the morgue by authorities haven't turned up any clues as to where she may be.
Jazmine, who is a student at Patrick Henry Elementary School, is suspected of using drugs.
The teen has a scar on her forehead and lower lip. She was last seen wearing a white scarf, denim jacket and black jeans.
If you know where Jazmine may be, you can call Cleveland police at (216) 623-5518 or (216) 623-5500.
