Cleveland Police patrolman's semiautomatic rifle, badge, body armor from personal vehicle

CLEVELAND - A Cleveland Police patrolman's semiautomatic rifle, badge and ammunition were stolen from his personal car Tuesday, the department reports.

The patrolman was at a Holiday Inn on W. 150th Steet in Cleveland April 22 for training when the gun was taken from his car, he told police.

Someone took an AR-15, body armor with a badge and ammunition, the report states.

The theft is under investigation and no disciplinary action has been taken against the patrolman, the department adds.
