Cleveland police officer's home broken into over weekend

CLEVELAND - Cleveland police say an officer's home was broken into over the weekend.

According to the police report, the Cleveland Police officer returned home Nov. 4 around 1 a.m. and noticed the lights were on inside his house.

The officer then advised CPD radio dispatch from his patrol zone car of the break-in.

Officers arrived to the scene and searched the officer's home.

No suspects were located.

Once inside, the resident reported his city issued ballistic vest, city issued badge, two loaded Glock magazines, a city issued stun gun were stolen and money.

Upon further investigation, it was noted that the suspect had entered through the north bedroom window.

Authorities continue to search for the suspect.
