CLEVELAND - Cleveland police need your help identifying the man pictured who they say robbed another of lottery tickets before stabbing him repeatedly with a screwdriver.
The robbery happened on March 18 at 6:40 a.m. after a man bought Ohio Lottery tickets at Chili's Beverage on East 112 Street and Forest Avenue.
Authorities said while the man was walking home, he was attacked from behind, knocked to the ground and hit repeatedly in his left side with a screwdriver.
The suspect then stole the lottery tickets from the victim's pockets, police said, along with cash. The robber then took off on foot. An investigation showed the suspect was inside the store when the victim bought the lottery tickets. Video showed the suspect returning the tickets to the store for a refund after the attack.
