Cleveland police homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the murders of three women this year.
CLEVELAND - Cleveland police are investigating a murder on East 93rd Street and Anderson Avenue.
Authorities were called to the east side around 8:45 a.m. Tuesday after someone reported a dead body at the location.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office said the woman's body was found in a field amongst trees. Officials are working to determine the cause of death and to identify the victim.
This is the same area where, on March 24, Jazmine Trotter, 20, was found beaten to death under an abandoned home. Days later, police found 45-year-old Christine Malone dead in a field near Bessemer only days after Trotter's murder. On March 30, a third victim escaped her attacker on East 116th Street while waiting for the bus. Police have said they don't believe the incidents to be connected.
