Cleveland Police confiscate $129,000, nearly 20 ounces of heroin, arrest 116 in crackdown

CLEVELAND - Cleveland Police have cracked down on the city's fifth district, the area roughly east of E. 55th Street and north of Euclid Avenue.

Fifth District officers have made 116 felony and 26 misdemeanor arrests, confiscating over $129,000, 24 guns, nearly 20 ounces of heroin, nearly 14 pounds of marijuana and nearly 27 grams of crack since Decemeber 2013, the department announced Friday.

The district includes the neighborhoods of Collinwood and Hough.
