CLEVELAND - UPDATE: 12-year-old Raina Bennett was found between 2 and 3 a.m. Friday.
Police are asking for the public's help to find a 12-year-old girl reported missing from Cleveland's west side.
Raina Bennett hasn't been seen by her mother since she left her home on Tate Avenue on Dec. 30. Laura Bennett said she and her daughter argued, and the girl left home without even grabbing a pair of shoes.
"I'm just worried and I want her home," Laura Bennett said in an interview with NewsChannel5.
Bennett said that both she and police have confirmed that her daughter was seen Sunday night and Monday morning at the Travelodge on Edgewater Drive near West 117th in Lakewood.
"They (Lakewood police) said that the person she was seen with was not an upstanding or what you would call one of your upstanding citizens, that they believed she was being pimped out and the clerk had told me herself that Raina was very confused, disoriented, didn't know where she was," Bennett said.
There are also reported sightings of Raina at West 94th Street and Denison Monday afternoon.
She is described as being 5-feet 4-inches tall and weighing 140 pounds. She has blond hair and green eyes.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Raina Bennett is asked to call the Cleveland police at 216-623-5218.
