CLEVELAND - Cleveland police have arrested a man following last week's discovery of burned remains on the city's east side.
On Dec. 14, officers found the body of 23-year-old Kimberly Bolton in the backyard of a house on Bayliss Avenue, near East 67th Street.
Cleveland police and agents with the U.S. Marshals arrested 50-year-old Nathaniel Woods in the 12000 block of Elwood Avenue without incident on Monday, according police. The Cleveland man was wanted on a warrant for aggravated murder and was charged later in the day.
Woods will appear in court at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Police told NewsChannel5 that the body was burned beyond recognition. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office said they were able to identify the remains using fingerprints.
