The Cleveland division of the FBI is conduction raids at several Northeast Ohio gas stations.

An FBI spokesperson said the information related to the raids is sealed.

Agents were seen at the Sunoco at Turney and Rockside roads in Garfield Heights and the Marathon station at Clark Avenue and Fulton Road in Cleveland.

Wednesday evening, the former manager at the Marathon station at Clark Avenue and Fulton Road in Cleveland said there is not any illegal activity happening at the location.

“It’s just confusion. Really is just confusion,” said Sammy Asad.

Asad said agents took registers, computers and at least $2,300 in cash.

The convenience store doubles as a UPS Access Point. When some customers are not home to receive packages, their items are dropped off at Asad’s store.

“They actually opened up several packages and from what I understand, that’s a crime,” said Asad.

Pumps are not working at the location, and he said the store is only able to accept cash. He expects electronic services to be down for another two days.
