CLEVELAND - A Cleveland Browns player was busted for allegedly driving more than 100 mph on a northeast Ohio highway over the weekend.
Cleveland Municipal Court records show Josh Cribbs was driving 103 in a 60 mph zone on Interstate 71 near the Fulton Road exit at 8:45 p.m. Friday.
Cribbs admitted to the offense on the popular social media platform Twitter:
"Yes I was pulled over for speeding, going to fast luckily the police were on the job, wasn't going that fast the entire time obviously but wrong is wrong, gotta face the music just like anyone else:("
He continued to tweet with a positive tone about the incident.
"Much Respect to the police officers who pulled me over! I will lead better on the road now as well as on & off the field!!!" he wrote.
Cribbs is due in court Friday, May 4.
