A 3-year-old girl was found safe on a busy Cleveland street after the vehicle she was in was stolen from a gas station.
Police said around 8 p.m. Monday, a man pulled in to the Shell gas station at East 30th Street and Carnegie Avenue with his 3-year-old cousin in the rear seat. The man left the keys in the ignition and went inside the store to pay for his gas.
He told NewsChannel 5's Homa Bash when he returned less than 30 seconds later, his gold Chevy Equinox SUV and his cousin were gone. The entire incident is captured on the gas station's surveillance cameras.
"I didn't know what was going to happen, I didn't know if they were going to harm her, or what," Grair said. "I was just panicking, I was in shock, I was scared. There was so much going on at the time and it was my fault."

The child was found after someone saw her walking in the street near Broadway Avenue and Morton Avenue and called police.
She was checked by EMS paramedics, who took her in to a nearby Popeye's restaurant to feed her. She appeared unharmed. She was taken to Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital and reunited with her mother afterwards.
A Cleveland police source said the little girl told them three men were in the car with her when it was stolen.
Police are still searching for the suspect and the stolen vehicle. It is a gold Chevy Equinox, license plate GML9618.
The cousin, Fred Grair, may face child endangering charges, according to police. He was taken into custody at the scene for outstanding warrants.
