CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Browns announced that Bon Jovi will kick off the 2013 football season at FirstEnergy Stadium.
Linebackers D'Qwell Jackson and Paul Kruger, and quarterback Brandon Weeden helped make the announcement at the stadium on Tuesday. They were joined by Browns CEO Joe Banner and team president Alex Scheiner.
The Fan Kickoff Concert is Sunday, July 14 and starts with the fan fest at 4 p.m. Cleveland native Michael Stanley and the Resonators take the stage at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Browns pep rally. That's all leading up Bon Jovi.
Tickets go on sale on Monday, June 3 at 10 a.m. They're available at Ticketmaster locations, including Giant Eagle stores and the FirstEnergy Stadium ticket office.
Tickets for the upper high sections are just $9.50, but it will cost you $375 or more for pit tickets.
The Cleveland stop is just one of Bon Jovi's 75-city "Because We Can" tour.
