CLEVELAND - Cleveland police and FBI agents searched the apartment of Camilia Terry on the city's east side.
The apartment is located at the intersection of East 130th Street and Buckeye Road. They left the apartment shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday, but officers wouldn't tell our reporters what they were looking for and if they found any evidence.
"We are executing the search warrant for evidence and we will consult with the prosecutor tomorrow," said Sgt. Sammy Morris.
Terry was arrested Monday night after a young boy's body was found wrapped in garbage bags at a waste processing plant in Oakwood. Cleveland police believe the body is Terry's 3-year-old son Emilliano, but the medical examiner said they're waiting on a DNA test to confirm the identity.
Emilliano was reported missing by his mother around 5 p.m. Sunday from Kossuth Park. Police said Terry's story never stayed consistent, leading them to believe she was involved.
Emilliano's godmother created a Facebook page in her godson's honor. Below is one of her posts:
To my Godson,
G-Mommy loves you forever and always, but GOD loved you BEST! He called you home to be with HIM. No more abuse, neglect, hatred, or brutality. There is nothing but PEACE, LOVE & JOY over there for you! I will NEVER forget you, your life will continually be celebrated in my HEART. Tears of joy flow for you, but these are NOT tears of sadness, hurt, or pain. I love you soooooo much. Words will never be able to explain nor encompass how I feel. You are G-mommy's angel who can NEVER be replaced....I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU!!!
The woman's most recent post describes how sad she is that Emilliano has "gone on to glory," but "sittin here looking at his brothers make me smile again...He's protecting them and watching over those he loved near and far..."
Cleveland police will hold a news conference at 11 a.m. about the Emilliano Terry homicide investigation. We are working to live stream this.
