The man accused of planting a pipe bomb in his car over the weekend also had one in his Ashtabula County home, officials announced in court Tuesday.
Assistant prosecuting attorney Brian Murphy said police executed a search warrant and found a second pipe bomb in 40-year-old Carl J. Bradley's Rock Creek home. Police detonated that bomb, as well as the one found in Bradley's car during a traffic stop on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive near Interstate 90 Saturday.
Bradley was arrested at the sceneand charged with one felony count of possession of dangerous ordnance.
In court Tuesday, bond was set for $100,000.
Bradley has a criminal history in Ashtabula County of traffic-related offenses and possessing drug instruments. He also has pending drug charges.
