CLEVELAND - The 22nd Annual Marc's Great American Rib Cook- Off & Music Festival will be returning to the Jacobs Pavilion and the Nautica Entertainment Complex Memorial Day Weekend.
Various competitions will be held, where ten professional teams from across the nation will compete for the "Greatest Ribs in America," "Butch Lupinetti Greatest Sauce in America," and "People's Choice" awards. Also on Saturday, May 25 five amateur barbeque chefs will compete in the annual Marc's Amateur Grilling Competition. A new opportunity has arisen this year, by downloading the free Live Nation mobile app by texting "LNAPP' to 404040, one random person will be selected and contacted through the Live Nation app to become an Official Rib Cook- Off Judge.
The RTA will be offering free rides on all RTA Rapid Transit Rail Lines and will extend all weekend long to match the hours of the cook- off. Complimentary bus shuttles will also be available to take patrons directly to the cook- off.
