CLEVELAND - A dead body was found floating in the water near the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Saturday afternoon.
Cleveland Police, Fire and EMS were called to the scene at the East 9th Street pier around 3 p.m. after a parking lot attendant saw what she thought to be a body floating in Lake Erie.
Fire department crews pulled the body from the water. The victim appears to be a male, but no age or race information is available at this time.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office responded for investigation and to convey the body to the Medical Examiner's Office.
The victim has not yet been identified and it is unknown how long his body had been in the water.
The Homicide unit did not respond to the scene for this incident.
