30-year-old victim in Tuesday morning homicide on Cleveland's west side

CLEVELAND - The medical examiner has identified a 30-year-old as the victim of homicide on the west side of Cleveland Tuesday morning.

Brandon Walker was found dead at a scene along the 2200 block of West 101st Street.

Police said they received a call of a man assaulting a woman along the 2200 block of West 101st Street just north of Western Avenue at 2:56 a.m.

The victim and his girlfriend were involved in a physical altercation when the girlfriend's brother showed up, according to police.

Officers said the 21-year-old suspect was arrested at the scene.
