CLEVELAND - Bond was set at $20,000 for two accused of operating a fake prescription ring around Cuyahoga County.
Angela Hicks, 36, and Joshua Hicks, 30, both of Cleveland, are the ringleaders, police say. They both pleaded not guilty in court Tueaday and are scheduled to appear back in court Wednesday, Nov. 6.
Angela got the blank prescriptions from University Hospital and Joshua recruited and trained five others to fill the prescriptions at pharmacies, police said.
The seven indicted were charged with 80 counts including trafficking, drug possession, deception to obtain a dangerous drug and other charges.
