The walkway to Jack Casino was damaged Sunday after it was struck by a city vehicle's crane.
No injuries were reported as of Sunday afternoon.
The truck's large boom arm, which is typically used to lift heavy equipment or items, ran into the bottom of the walkway, puncturing the structure.
A city official said the walkway way closed for a short period of time, but it has since reopened.
City engineers were reviewing the structural integrity of the walkway.
