Staff at a hospital in Warren had to use an anti-overdose drug to revive two babies who were brought to the hospital unconscious Tuesday.

WKBN in Youngstown reportsa woman and her mother brought the children—a nine-month-old and 21-month-old—to Trumbull Memorial Hospital just before noon.

Tim Schaffner, executive director of Trumbull County Children Services, told WKBN that the hospital used Narcan, an anti-overdose drug, to revive the babies. Narcan is used to reverse the effects of heroin and other opiods.

Both children are now at Akron Children’s Hospital.

Police are trying to figure out how the babies got in that condition.
