Police are investigating the deaths of two men in Canton Tuesday morning.

Officers were called at 9:10 a.m. to the 2400 block of Midway Avenue NE for a report of a shooting.

When police arrived, they found two men dead in the living room of the home. Police identified one of the men as 35-year-old Joshua Weatherspoon, a resident of the house. The second man has not been identified.

A woman and three children—ages 11 months, two years and four years—were inside the home at the time of the shooting.

Connie Miller, a 74-year-old neighbor, told newsnet5.com the woman ran to her home to report the shooting. The woman, whose hands were zip-tied together, said someone put something over her head to cover her eyes and then tied her hands.

When she ran next door, she said there was blood everywhere.

The woman and children were not injured but were taken to Aultman Hospital to be checked out.

At this time police have no suspects or motive.

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is assisting Canton police with the investigation.

According to Akron Police Capt. Jack Angelo this was not a murder-suicide. Police are investigating the case as a double homicide.
