AKRON, Ohio - A fight over apple fritters ended in a stabbing in Akron on Christmas night.
A woman was in the kitchen making fritters on Springdale Street when her two sisters came in and started play fighting with them, she told police.
But after one sister pulled hair, 21-year-old Contisha Hayes responded by stabbing her sister in the chest, police said.
The 21-year-old victim was transported to Akron City Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Hayes was charged with felonious assault and booked in the Summit County Jail.
