AKRON, Ohio - A tracking dog that is helping look for a missing Akron teen found a pair of grey pants and shallow dirt in the woods Monday afternoon.
Private investigators, volunteers and a tracking dog are searching a wooded area behind Spring Hill Towers at 1221 Everton Dr. in Akron for 19-year-old Taylor Robinson who has been missing since May 4.
The group met Monday morning at Sunrise Drive and Thornton Street in West Akron.
Tom Fields, a private investigator with Accurate Investigative Services, said tips have been received indicating foul play is involved and that Robinson's body could be in that area.
Robinson was last seen at an Akron home where she worked as a home health aide. Several searches have been conducted and missing person flyers have been posted all over town.
Akron police said the grey pants were actually shorts belonging to a homeless person and the clothes are not connected to Robinson's disappearance.
Akron police said they have not received any solid new leads recently.
