A man arrested Friday for allegedly exposing himself to a woman who was walking her dog in Akron could be connected to several other cases.

According to Akron police, 27-year-old David Thomas Jr. may be a 'serial exposer.'

Around 8:30 a.m. Friday, officers responded to the area of Delia and Greenwood avenues for a report of a man who exposed himself to a woman and made rude comments toward her.

The woman was able to get a license plate number and police later identified the man as Thomas.

Thomas was charged with one count of public indecency but officials say he may be connected to other cases over the last few months.

According to police, most of the incidents have occurred around Snyder and Forest Lodge Parks.

Thomas was transported to the Summit County Jail.
