One man is dead after an altercation with a DJ at an Akron bar.
Police said the 43-year-old victim, identified as Forrest Ryan, of North Canton, was found unresponsive inside Zodiac Bar on Triplett Blvd around 12:30 a.m.
Ryan was transported to Akron City Hospital where he later died.
The DJ, 64-year-old Robert Jarvis, fled the scene but later turned himself in to detectives.
He was charged with murder and booked in the Summit County Jail.
Another homicide was reported at the Hi-De-Ho Lounge in Akron overnight.
