A Cleveland police officer's gun and personal car were stolen Monday, according to Akron police.

Cleveland Police Officer Howard Hart III, 27, was inside Interbelt Nite Club when he noticed at some point that his keys were missing from the time he went from the dance floor to the bar, police reported.

Police said when Hart went to leave, he noticed his car was missing. Inside the car, underneath the driver's seat, was a Glock 19 handgun.

Hart's car is a 2011 Ford Fusion and is still missing. "Cleveland OH PD" is engraved on the gun, police said.

Police said there were allegedly three suspects involved in the incident. One suspect was described as a man dressed in drag queen attire.

Cleveland police said Hart could be charged departmentally for failing to secure his weapon, but no charges have been filed at this time.
