Canton police are warning the public about a scam involving the use of movie prop money to purchase items.
Police said the prop money doesn't feel like real currency and are marked "MOTION PICTURE USE ONLY" on the front and back of the bills.
Be especially aware when accepting 50's and 100's as they are the most common denominations, according to authorities.
Officials reported recently, the 'movie money' was used in a sale through craigslist.com.
