The body found floating in Summit Lake last month has been identified as a missing Navy veteran.
According the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office, the body was identified as 35-year-old Jasaun Johnson.
Johnson's body was pulled from the lake near West Crosier Street on March 14. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
In February, newsnet5.com spoke to Johnson's family about his disappearance.
"We have this battle with optimism and reality," his sister Delrica Grubbs told newsnet5.com. "Battling it in our heads, hearts and stomachs. We want the word out."
That day, dozens of volunteers fanned out in his neighborhood with fliers in hand, taking steps to bring him home.
