Residents of Akron are planning to join the cacophony of protests against President-elect Donald Trump that are sweeping the nation.
Organizers plan for the protest to begin around 11 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, in Akron's Highland Square neighborhood and plan to march across the city to the University of Akron campus, according to a report by the Akron Beacon Journal.
The Facebook event titled "Trump Protest, Akron." says the march will last until 2 a.m. More than 400 on Facebook said they planned to join the protest, over 1,200 said they were "interested" in the rally.
