Akron man gets 10 years in prison for child porn, meth

AKRON, Ohio - A 34-year-old Akron man will spend the next 10 years in prison for having videos and pictures of kiddie porn at his home which housed a meth lab in the basement.

Jesse Guyton, 34, was sentenced by a Summit County judge on Thursday for the child porn and meth lab charges.

The Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force obtained a search warrant for Guyton's home and computer after he posted sexually explicit photos on a file-sharing site.

While executing the search warrant, officers found an active meth lab in his basement.

Authorities found more than 500 videos and thousands of photos involving children between the ages of two and 12 engaged in sexual activity on his computer.

Guyton pleaded guilty on March 21 to the charges. He will be a Tier II sex offender when released from prison, meaning he will have to register his address with the county sheriff where he lives every six months for 25 years.
