AKRON, Ohio - The suspect wanted in an Akron homicide turned himself into police.
Gracshawn G. Thomas came into the Akron police station with his attorney Thursday afternoon, according to the police department.
Thomas was wanted for aggravated murder in the death of Alfonso Golden, Jr., a 28-year-old from Douglas Street in Akron.
Golden was in a vehicle stopped at a red light near Waterloo Road and Brown Street around 8:30 a.m. Sept. 18. That's when Thomas pulled up next to Golden and shot him multiple times, police said.
He was booked into the Summit County Jail.
