Pfeiffer Elementary School Principal Regina Llewellyn wrote a letter to parents, updating them on two suspicious men that reportedly approached a 9-year-old student on Wednesday.

Llewellyn said in the letter while one of the school's students was walking home on 9th Street, the third grade girl reported being approached by two men in a pickup truck. The girl said the men tried to convince her to get in the car.

Now, authorities are searching for a beat up white pickup truck and two white men, one of which was described as older with a white beard and glasses.

"Help us keep our students safe by being aware and by notifying us of anything suspicious you may observe or hear about during the course of your day," stated in the letter.

She said Akron police will be patrolling around Akron Schools to try and catch the suspects.
