After one month 'We have nothing yet,' says Medina Co. Coroner in Bryon Macron death investigation

It has been one month since Lafayette Township trustee Bryon Macron's body was found floating in Chippewa Lake. Despite her assertion that the autopsy report would be ready "in two weeks," Medina County Coroner Lisa Deranek now says:

“We have nothing yet,” she said. “The autopsy report isn’t done, and the toxicology report isn’t done.”

As reported by the Akron Beacon Journal and Ohio.com., the autopsy is being handled by Cuyahoga County, and Deranek said "investigators told her Cuyahoga’s cases have taken precedence over Medina’s cases."

Police found Bryon Macron's car in a Beachside Boulevard parking lot in Chippewa Lake in December. Coworkers said they had last seen Macron, 45, at a social function late the previous night.
