AKRON, Ohio - So… why is Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts coming to Akron?
Well, for starters, Goodyear chose her to christen the new airship, Wingfoot One.

But there’s a special reason they picked Robin instead of another celebrity: Her great-grandfather moved to Akron in 1918 to work for Goodyear.
Wingfoot One makes its public debut on August 23. You can follow Goodyear on Twitter for updates about getting one of the handful of tickets being made available for this special event.
