Canton police are investigating a shooting that injured an 18-year-old man in Canton.
According to police, the shooting happened around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of Plain Avenue NE.
When officers arrived they found 18-year-old Julius DeVonte Jones with a gunshot wound to the chest.
He was taken to Mercy Medical Center in serious condition.
Canton police are investigating the shooting.
