AKRON, Ohio - A man turned himself in to Akron Police Wednesday night after an 18-year-old was found dead with a gunshot wound.
Officers found Donald D. Carter, Jr., of Akron, lying on a sidewalk on the 200 block of Cole Avenue in Akron with a gunshot wound just after 8 p.m.
He was taken to Akron General where he died at 8:44 p.m.
Nathaneal Carter, 33, turned himself in late Wednesday, police said. He was charged with aggravated murder.
Nathaneal Carter is not related to the suspect, police noted.
