Authorities say a 3-year-old boy being watched by his mother's boyfriend has died in a Cleveland hospital after suffering severe head trauma.
Arthur Harper, 43, has been charged with felony child endangering and is being held in the Trumbull County Jail. Harper lives with the boy and his mother.
Warren Detective Nick Carney says Harper could face more charges after investigators see results of an autopsy on the Russell Cotrall. The toddler died Wednesday.
The Vindicator reports Harper said in a 911 call made Saturday that he heard a thump while the boy was in his bedroom and he's unresponsive.
It's unclear if Harper has an attorney who could comment on the charges.
