Johnny Manziel:"I'm going to be the 21st (quarterback) and the guy that brought them the Super Bowl"

CLEVELAND - Cleveland Browns fans have been patiently waiting for a winning season, but more importantly a Super Bowl win.

Johnny Manziel, former Texas A&M quarterback and Heisman trophy winner, said if he becomes a Cleveland Brown he will bring Cleveland a Super Bowl win.

In an interview with the Houston Chronicle Manziel said, ""If something happens, and it's the Cleveland Browns, I'm going to pour my heart out for the Dawg Pound and try to win a Super Bowl for Cleveland, I don't care if they've had 20 starting quarterbacks since 1999. I'm going to be the 21st and the guy that brought them the Super Bowl."

Fans seem to be taking the comments with a cautious grin. William van Stolk, a Browns season ticket holder since the team came back in 1999, is not ready to throw a parade down Euclid Avenue. "It's an amazing sense of hope, but [my dreams] have been dashed before," he said.

The Wolf Pack Parma Browns Backers normally meet at Knuckleheads Bar and Grill during the season. Many heard the news and were not that excited about Manziel being drafted by the Browns. "I don't think he is the right pick for us, but I love the enthusiasm," said Jeff Adaska.

The one thing most seem to agree on is for the Browns not to try and trade up to get Manziel. Exports believe he is unlikely to be around when the Browns make their selection.

The Browns currently have the fourth pick in this year's NFL draft.
