CLEVELAND - If you're long overdue for a check-up and simply can't afford it, you're in luck.
There is a free health fair at Case Western Reserve University on Friday at the Veale Gymnasium and Recreation Center located on 2138 Adelbert Road. The event starts at noon and goes until 5 p.m.
Medical professionals, including volunteers from MedWorks will offer flu shots and screenings. Free tests including HIV/AIDS, cholesterol, diabetes, glucose, body mass index, oral health and much more.
University Hospitals donated the supplies need for the screening. The Cleveland Clinic will offer mammograms and colonoscopy screenings at the Stephanie Tubbs Jones Health Clinic in East Cleveland.
Residents of any age can get the free tests, but those younger than 18 need permission from a parent or guardian.
